After being a doormat in the Moose Jaw High School Football League for a few seasons, the Swift Current Comp Colts are emerging into a potential league champion.

The Colts will play in the championship game on Saturday afternoon in Moose Jaw against Peacock, after defeating MJ Central in the semi-finals 20-0.

"It feels really, really good.  To come back and beat a team like Central for the second time this year... three or four years ago, we got our hat handed to us pretty good by these guys, so it feels good to let a shout out," commented Colts Head Coach Derek Murdoch after Saturday's win.

The Colts lost both regular season games to Peacock, and are hoping to turn things around on Saturday.  The game is at 1pm in Moose Jaw.
