A chance to get back in the win column Wednesday for the Swift Current Comp. Colts soccer team.

After making a big splash in their first ever Moose Jaw Soccer League game, scoring a 7-1 victory over Moose Jaw Peacock, the Colts were held to a 2-2 draw last week against Moose Jaw Central.

Stephen Addai felt the result against Central could have been much better for Swift Current.

"I didn't think we played too well in the midfield, especially around the end of the game," he said.

"We could have done a lot better. We did start off good, though, but as the game wore on I think we just got tired."

As the Colts continue to prepare for their third league game of the season, Addai does feel the team is heading in the right direction.

"If you look at us from our first game, we are definitely a lot better this year," he said.

"We have really progressed a lot in practice and I think if you just give it a few weeks, we will be a lot better."

Swift Current's third opponent of the season will once again be a Moose Jaw squad, as they will take on Vanier.

Meanwhile, the Ardens soccer team will return to the pitch on Thursday when they host Caronport.
