Basketball bragging rights were on the line last night as the Battle of the Southwest was held in Pambrun.
The Millar Edge were victorious on both the ladies and men's side. Fielding a team for the first time since 2008 the Great Plains College Sundogs ladies team fell 54-21, and Millar won the the men's game 57-50 over the Sundogs.
Last night's action wrapped up ACAL regular season play for the two college teams. The wins should solidify ACAL playoff berths for the Edge, unfortunately for the Sundogs they will not make the playoffs, but will compete in PAC championship, a tournament that the Edge will also be attending.
