Andy Fantuz

A day ahead of the first cut downs at NFL training camps, the Chicago Bears let four players go on Monday to get their roster down to 80 players ahead of the Tuesday deadline.

Former Saskatchewan Roughriders receiver Andy Fantuz wasn't one of them.

Fantuz hasn't played much since heading south, picking up only one catch for six yards in the Bears' second preseason game.

The Bears' next game is on Thursday when they host the Cleveland Browns at Solider Field, Fantuz should see some more playing time in that one as the starters don't usually suit up for the preseason finale.
