Andy Schneider and Tyler Wright were honoured into the Broncos Hall of Fame last night.

The two friends and teammates were inducted with a special ceremony at the Credit Union I-plex Auditorium.

For Tyler Wright, the night had extra meaning.

"We were both best man's in each others weddings, our kids are friends.  It's a pretty big honour and a special time to go in (to Hall of Fame) with Andy."

Wright says Swift Current should be proud of this franchise for many reasons.

"When you think about Swift Current you think about tradition, all the good and the bad and the hardships.  To go to the Memorial Cup and win it in 89, we got there in '93 and just fell short, this community should be extremely proud.  I was at the NHL draft on the weekend and we saw four Broncos drafted into the NHL.  If I was a father or I was looking to put my kid anywhere, I would want him here in Swift Current."

Andy Schneider gave an emotional tribute to his family for everything they've been through while he pursued his hockey career.  He was thankful to be inducted.

"It's unbelievable.  What a great honour.  I am happy to be here with my family and my kids.  What a great, special and memorable night.
