Local baseball player Logan Fritzke and his Team Saskatchewan teammates picked up their first win at the Western Canada Summer Games yesterday.

After dropping their opening game to Alberta on Wednesday, Team Sask. began their day yesterday with a loss to British Columbia. However, the team was able to bounce back and defeat Team Manitoba by a final score of 6-3.

With the win, Saskatchewan now sits in 3rd place out of the 4 teams.

Up next, for Saskatchewan will be another game against Alberta, which they will play at 2:30pm this afternoon.

Also competing at the games today is Swift Current's Tobi Ojo, as he and the Saskatchewan's Men's soccer team play their first game at 2:00pm.

Their opening game will be against the Yukon.
