Gawdin Signing a "No-Brainer"

This year's Swift Current Broncos first round bantam draft pick, Glenn Gawdin hopes one day his name will be called like so many others in the on going NHL Draft.

He's taken the first step by signing a WHL contract, a move he says was a no-brainer.

"I think they knew that signing or playing for you guys isn't that big of a deal for me, and I'm looking forward to playing there," Gawdin said. "I don't think there was any surprise that I signed."

Gawdin is training hard this summer on his foot speed, getting ready for his midget season and Broncos camp this fall.
