It was a strong showing for a local cowboy on Saturday night at the Glen Keeley Memorial in Stavely, Alberta.

Maple Creek's Jared Parsonage was given a double entry for the event and didn't disappoint posting a silver and bronze finish that netted him a few bucks shy of $3,600.

His second-place finish started with an 85-point ride on Thunder Road before improving that score posting an 88-point ride on the back of Hanna Motors Homeboy.

Parsonage's third-place entry began with an 83-point ride on Dylans Devil before he followed it up with his best ride of the night an 89-point trip on Stuntman Hank.

The two podium finishes landed him 28 points on the PBR Canada national standings and he now sits ranked fourth in the country trailing the winner of the event and number one ranked bull rider in Canada - Kindersley's Dakota Buttar by 140.5 points.
