The Swift Current Indians held on for an 11-10 victory as they sweated it out in the final inning last night.

The Tribe built a comfortable lead on the Moose Jaw Miller Express taking a four run cushion into the 9th inning.  Moose Jaw went to work scoring three runs to close the gap to 11-10.  They had the tying run on 3rd when Indians pitcher Joey Evans caught Cory Olafson looking for the final out of the ball game.

Plenty of offense in this one.  The Indians Joe Wendte finished the night with four RBI's - three of them coming off a 5th inning three-run homer.

The win improves the Indians to 11-7 on the season.  They have a 2 1/2 game lead on Moose Jaw for the lead in the Central division.  Tonight they travel to Moose Jaw to finish off the home-and-home set.
