After a 569 day absence from the Innovation Credit Union iPlex the Swift Current Broncos will be returning.

The WHL club released very brief details yesterday afternoon regarding their 2021-22 regular season schedule as they'll begin the year in Swift Current on October 1 when they welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers.

A night later they'll travel down the Trans-Canada Highway to the Co-op Place in Medicine Hat to complete a home-and-home series.

That was all schedule-wise the team shared, but they'll be only travelling between three provinces this year for the regular season.

On Tuesday the league announced they're scrapping any contests between Eastern and Western Conference teams for at least this upcoming season.

A full schedule for Swift Current is expected to be released at a later date.
