Adam Lowry in action at the NHL prospects tournament in Penticton

The Swift Current Broncos are hoping to benefit from the experience their three returning NHL draft picks had at pro camps.

Adam Lowry attended the first rookie and pro camp of the returning Winnipeg Jets.

"It was an unbelievable experience and something I will never forget," said Lowry. "Seeing the skill and pace they play is something that you are able to judge yourself against."

A couple of veterans made an impression on him.

"Their Captain Andrew Ladd took a bunch of younger guys under his wing," said Lowry. "He was a calming influence in the room."

He also credits Johnny Oduya for bringing the veterans and prospects together.

Lowry scored a goal and an assist in two losses against Regina this weekend. Richard Nedomel and Reece Scarlett also returned from NHL camps.

The Broncos host Brandon on Wednesday.
