The Swift Current Indians begin the 2010 Western Major Baseball League season tonight.

The Tribe hosts the Edmonton Prospects at 7:05pm.  About 18 of the players have arrived for the summer season, with about four or five yet to arrive.

"As soon as you step on the field, it's just like riding a bike," commented veteran Conrad Funk, who will begin his 15th-straight season with the Indians tonight.

The Indians will likely hand the ball to John Snyder for the start on the mound.  It would be his third-straight year as the opening day starter.

Last night, the Indians hosted their "Meet the Indians" kick-off supper at the Palliser Pavilion.
