The Swift Current Rampage lacrosse teams opened the 2014 season this past weekend.
The Midget team played in Medicine Hat over the weekend and were upset in both games posting a loss for both of 9-1 & 6-1. The two players that scored were Jonathon Chisholm and Ashton Schous.
The Novice team played in Brooks and managed two wins by 4-3 & 4-2 scores for their games. Scoring for the Novice team were Zach Cloutier, Paul Piche and Ryder Turko.
The Pee Wee team also played in Brooks and had great games, coming from behind to tie up their first game at 8-8. Finding the back of the net were: Riley Pribyl, Kaiden Fletcher, Noah Schindel, Houston Finlayson and Tanner Funk. Assists from: Carson Boyer, Keagon Little and Gordy Johner.
Second game was a 6-3 win for Swift Current with scoring by Kaiden Fletcher, Riley Pribyl and Houston Finlayson. Assisting was Jax Bymoen, Keagon Little, Gordy Johner and Houston Finlayson.
