The Swift Current Dickson Agencies Rampage open up their season this weekend.

The Junior B lacrosse team has been practicing for a couple of weeks in preparation for the season, which begins this weekend in Regina.

The Rampage are back in Swift Current after a one-year hiatus to Gull Lake, while the Credit Union iplex was undergoing renovations.

"Being the Swift Current Rampage, it is nice to be in Swift Current.  I do want to give thanks to Gull Lake for accommodating us last year, but our fans and the people that support us are from town here, so we definitely appreciate being back at the iplex," commented head coach Sheldon Kuebler.

Kuebler says they have a young team with a bright future ahead.  He says they have to shoot for a better showing than last year's last place showing in the 10- team league.  He feels they could be somewhere in the middle by season's end.

The Rampage play their first home game Sunday, May 4th.
