As a team that leads the league off the field, the amazing success on the field this season is going to drive financial numbers through the roof for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Ticket sales alone for the 2013 season will have an amazing impact on the team's bottom line, not to mention merchandise and advertising.

General Manger Brendan Taman says there was a lot of pressure on the team to make sure they made a push to get to the Grey Cup.

"Back in 2011, when they announced that the game was coming here, we knew that it was pretty important that we had a good year and get into it, let alone win it so I felt some pressure."

After having some time to reflect on the caos that was the CFL Championship Finals, Taman is more than impressed with the way the team performed and says it wasn't until late in the game that it hit him that the Grey Cup was going to stay in Regina.

"It was probable when Weston (Dressler) got the touchdown later in the fourth quarter that I thought 'This might be happening' and that was probably the first sense that we had actually done it."

While the game is in the books and the trophy has been presented, the Grey Cup cash cow hasn't gone dry just yet. Championship merchandise is hitting store shelves this week and depending on where you shop, you might be able to get some before the parade Tuesday morning in Regina.

The parade will start at 11:00 am from Mosaic Stadium. The team will travel south down Albert Street before ending at the Legislative Building for a small program scheduled for around noon. City Police will be blocking off Albert Street which will include both southbound and northbound traffic to help facilitate the parade.
