Swift Current Broncos' defenseman Reece Scarlett was one of 13 WHLers chosen to play in the CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in January.

The game features 40 of the top draft-eligible prospects in the Canadian Hockey League.

Scarlett was named to the Team Orr roster, the same team as highly-touted prospect and Red Deer Rebels forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.

Team Orr will take on Team Cherry in the game January 19 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

In other news, the Broncos were involved in a trade Wednesday, picking up Oil Kings prospect Graham Black for a conditional bantam draft pick. The 17-year-old forward is playing for the Regina Pat Canadians of the Midget AAA League.
