Michael Ryder's second goal of the night, 1:59 into overtime gave the Boston Bruins a 5-4 win over the Montreal Canadiens last night at the Bell Centre, to even the NHL playoff series at two games apiece.

Former Swift Current Bronco Brent Sopel had a goal and Stewart Valley's Travis Moen picked up an assist for the Habs. Both players picked up their first points of the 2011 playoffs.

In other action, San Jose dumped Los Angeles 6-3, to take a 3-1 series lead. Former Bronco Ian White had a pair of assists, while Aneroid's Patrick Marleau had a helper of his own to help the Sharks to the win. White has five points so far in the post-season while Marleau has three, including a goal.

And Vancouver was routed for the second game in a row.  Defenceman Duncan Keith had two goals and two assists and the Chicago Blackhawks stayed alive in their Stanley Cup title defence by whipping the Canucks 5-0.  Marian Hossa also scored twice, while rookie Corey Crawford made 36 saves, while cutting Vancouver's lead to 3-2 in the first-round series.
