The Great Plains College SunDogs program celebrated a rollercoaster 2010-11 season with the presentation of the program’s annual athletics awards today, as part of the Celebrating Students luncheon at Swift Current Campus. Some of this season’s highlights included the SunDogs men’s volleyball team winning silver at the 2010 Western Canadian championships, a 2-2 finish at PAC provincials for the women’s volleyball team, and the men’s basketball team winning its final game of the ACAL season on a last-second three-pointer by Chad MacLeod.
