The 2010 Ford World Women's Curling Championships will force the Broncos to vacate the iplex at a very crucial time.

The 2010 Worlds are set for March 20th to 29th, and that means the Broncos will not be able to host home playoff games in the opening round.  Potentially four games would have to be played elsewhere.

The Broncos have been given some options for their "home" games, including playing them in another WHL market where that team has missed the playoffs, such as Moose Jaw, Medicine Hat, or Regina.  Another option is to play all of the first round games in the opposition's rink.  The third option would be to host home playoff games in a WHL-approved neutral site, which would most likely be a potential WHL market for the future.

Neither the City nor the Broncos were immediately available for comment.
