In the first game of the Notekeu Hockey League Finals it was the Glentworth Thunder over the Assiniboia Rebels 5-2.
The loss was the first of the playoffs for Assiniboia who are averaging 5.29 goals per game in the post season while only allowing 3.14 against.
The Thunder are undefeated in 7 playoff games and averaging 4.86 goals per game and a stingy 1.57 goals against.
