The Swift Current Broncos had a tough time with the Medicine Hat Tigers in a 6-2 loss in game two last night.

The Tigers had a 3-0 lead halfway through the first period, but the Broncos mounted a comeback of sorts with power play goals from John Negrin and Taylor Vause to cut the lead to 3-2. A strange goal early in the third period got by Broncos goalie Travis Yonkman to give the 2-goal lead back to the Tigers, then two Tiger goals on the power play put the game out of reach.

Yonkman finished the game with 28 saves, Ryan Holfeld got the win with 22 saves for the Tigers.

The best-of-seven series is now tied at one game apiece as the series shifts to the Medicine Hat Arena for games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Game 5 will be played at the Credit Union iplex Friday.
