Trailing 5-0 after four innings, the Swift Current Indians went to work on the Medicine Hat Mavericks, only to have their rally fall short by a run.

Medicine Hat chased Indians P Jeff Neptune from the game after he surrendered five runs off of eight hits.  Relief Pitcher Joey Evans came in and was solid on the mound.

The Tribe scored two runs in the 5th inning, and then singles in the 7th and 8th innings.  However, the Tribe couldn't muster the tying run in the 9th inning.

The Indians get right back it tonight by hosting the Weyburn Beavers in a double-header.  The first game is set for 6:00pm at Mitchell Field.
