The Evans Brothers Home Hardware Legionnaires rebounded from a 10-1 loss to the Battlefords on Saturday with a 4-3 win over the Stars on Sunday to split a two-game homestand.

Tristen Hermanson had two goals for the Legionnaires Sunday, including the winner with 1:12 left in regulation. Bryce Hall had a goal and two assists for Swift Current while Gage Misskey added the other goal, and goaltender Chantz Vinck made an astounding 57 saves for the victory.

Josh Stang scored the goal on Saturday for the Legionnaires, who host the Saskatoon Blazers next weekend.

Other minor hockey had the Diamond Energy Female Midget Wildcats splitting the Prince Albert Bears with a 3-2 loss Saturday and a 5-2 win on Sunday. Brooklyn Haubrich had three goals over the weekend for the Wildcats, who host Regina next weekend.

The K-Motel Hurricanes also split their weekend road trip with a 4-3 loss to the Regina Vics on Saturday and a 9-0 win over Lumsden/Bethune on Sunday. Carter Tangen and Dreiden Gauthier had two goals each to lead the offense on Sunday for the Hurricanes, who travel to Moose Jaw on Saturday.

The Tarpon Energy Atom Broncos earned two blowout wins over Melville this weekend, winning 15-0 on Saturday and 20-1 on Sunday.
