The Female Midget AAA Diamond Energy Wildcats are getting an injection of youth this season.

After tryouts on the weekend, Coach Terry Pavely says they only have six 17-year-olds.

That means the Wildcats will be able to return eleven of their seventeen players the following season.

Pavely adds they're going to actually have a couple of bantam age girls on their blue line.

He says they skate well and are going to bring a simple game to the team.

Pavely wanted to add size to their roster and now feels they may also be the biggest team in the league.

The Wildcats are still looking for billets.
