1300 Tickets Issued During "Operation Overdrive"

RCMP Swift Current Regional Traffic Services was involved in "Operation Overdrive" over this past long weekend.

Throughout the weekend, more than 1300 tickets were issued to Saskatchewan motorists. Fifty drivers were charged with impaired driving, including one in the southwest.

Also in the southwest, there were four intersection, 68 speeding, one cell phone and five seatbelt violations.
