With the Thanksgiving weekend upon us, it's also a time to remember the less fortunate in our community.
The Swift Current Food Bank will again be looking for the public's assistance in helping to stock their shelves in the coming weeks.
With a growing population, Salvation Army Captain Michael Ramsay says they have been noticing an increase in the number of requests for assistance from the Food Bank.
Ramsay says they will be holding a couple of food drives coming up, including at this Sunday's Broncos game. Fans attending are asked to bring along a non-perishable food item.
