Salem Lutheran Church in Shaunavon is coordinating the Christmas Food Hampers again this year.

Kim Anderson is one of the volunteers with the Church. She says, "There are gift wrapped boxes around town in different businesses where food donations can be dropped off, and basically, it's a Christmas meal but it's more than that. There's enough groceries in there probably for a week or so. Just some extra treats and things that we think people might enjoy, as well as a turkey or a ham."

Salem Lutheran Church volunteers have been doing the Hampers over the past eight years. Last Christmas they delivered 48 holiday hampers to Shaunavon and area residents.

If you would like to receive a Christmas Hamper they ask that you call the Church before December 1st.
