Intersection Construction To Wind Up

Most of the work on the intersection of Chaplin Street and Central Avenue North in Swift Current is expected to be finished by next week.

City Engineering Director Mac Forster says crews will work on rebuilding the walkways at the intersection, and then pavers are to apply the overlay on the street.

He says all that's left to do after that is to replace the traffic signal standards, which are expected to arrive this fall.



Forster adds similar work is planned for other city intersections, but the work should progress much faster than this project did.
