Last year's Kraft Celebration Tour in Kyle
The Kraft Celebration Tour will not be making a second stop in southwest Saskatchewan after taking Kyle by storm last year.
TSN annouced the 20 finalists for the tour, which will see 10 communities win a $25,000 community award from Kraft and host a live SportsCentre broadcast this summer.
Shaunavon, Kincaid, Hazlet, Cabri and Chaplin were nominated for the annual tour, but Kerrobert and Porcupine Plain were named the only two Saskatchewan finalists.
Kyle won a spot on the 2011 tour with the $25,000 grant going toward upgrades the Kyle Community Sports Centre.
The support for that facility is continuing today. Richardson Pioneer recently announced a $25,000 donation to the Sports Centre for roof repairs.
