GreyCup-Nov24-Final
The Saskatchewan Roughriders hoist the Grey Cup at Regina's Mosaic Stadium on November 24th.

The Grey Cup is coming to Swift Current today.

After the Saskatchewan Roughriders won the historic championship on their home field last season, they've been touring around the province giving fans a chance to get an up close look.

They have partnered with the Swift Current Broncos to display it at the Credit Union iPlex today.

"There's actually a public autograph signing and pictures with the Grey Cup in the afternoon at the auditorium of the iPlex from 1pm to 3pm," said Broncos Assistant General Manager and Director of Busines Operations Dianne Sletten. "We're opening our doors early for the game at 5pm rather than 6pm as the Riderse are going to be there signing autographs again from 5pm to 7pm just before game time."

Taj Smith, Mike Mccullough, Dan Clark, Diamond Ferri, Jordan Sisco and Grainer the Gopher will represent the Saskatchewan Roughriders along with the cup itself.

"There's lots of opportunity to get some autographs and picture taking," Sletten said. "It should be exciting."

"The players will be there (throughout the game) as well, but they don't want to disrupt from the game so they will just sign for the two hours before the game."

Fans are encouraged to show up early.

The game with Prince George gets started at 7:05pm. Check our sports section for more on the Broncos.
