SGEU Agreement

A tentative agreement has been reached between the Government of Saskatchewan and the SGEU public service bargaining unit.

Minister Responsible for the Public Service Commission, June Draude says she is pleased by the co-operation and leadership shown by both parties at the bargaining table.

The SGEU represents about 10,000 employees in government ministries who work in a wide range of roles from Agrologists and Information Technology professionals to Social and Correctional Workers.

The agreement is subject to ratification over the next month, which will include membership meetings by SGEU.
