The Swift Current Stockade was packed this past weekend for the 58th Hobby, Craft and Gun Show.

The event took place on Saturday and Sunday, bringing in over 2,000 people from across western Canada.

Henry Banman, Hobby, Craft, and Gun Show coordinator and organizer, has been putting this show on alongside his wife since 1977.

"They keep coming back time after time and already many of them have been asking; when's the next one," he noted.

Banman highlights the wide variety of vendors this spring and the continued interest of many people who have supported the event over the years.

The countless items available at the show included numerous different guns, furs, knives, leatherwork, freshly baked pies, home decorations, belt buckles, jewelry, antiques, collectables, and even puppies.

"I'm very happy that my health has been bearing with me and my wife," said Banman. "We're grateful that we can still do this and we're going to try and do this just as long as we can."
