Spencer Bell's goal at 8:59 of double overtime lifted the Humboldt Broncos to a 4-3 win over the Melfort Mustangs on Sunday night in game six of their SJHL semifinal series.

Jeter Korte, Brayden Skogstad and Cage Newans also scored as Humboldt rallied from down 3-1 after 40 minutes to force OT. The Broncos also rallied from down 3-1 in their series to force a seventh and deciding game on Tuesday night in Melfort.

The winner of the series will face the Flin Flon Bombers in the Canterra Seeds Cup Final.

Flames rally to beat Coyotes

Nazem Kadri had two goals in the third period, including the game-winner, as the Calgary Flames rallied to edge the Arizona Coyotes 6-5 on Sunday at the Saddledome.

Andrei Kuzmenko, Matt Coronato, Connor Zary, and Yegor Sharangovich also scored for Calgary as they defeated the Coyotes for possibly the final time as a team based in Arizona. The franchise is expected to be sold to Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith as early as this week and moved to Salt Lake City.

Montreal visits Detroit, Ottawa visits the New York Rangers and Edmonton hosts San Jose in tonight's NHL action.

Canada claims world women's hockey gold with OT win over US

Danielle Serdachny scored a power-play goal in overtime to give Team Canada a 6-5 win over the USA in the gold medal game of the Women's Women's Hockey Championship in Utica, New York on Sunday. Marie-Philip Poulin added two goals for Canada, who won a tournament-record 13th gold medal.

Jays blank Rockies for second series win

Justin Turner had three hits and three RBI as the Toronto Blue Jays blanked the Colorado Rockies 5-0 in the rubber match of the three-game interleague series on Sunday at Rogers Centre. Jose Berrios and two relievers combined for the Jays' second shutout of the season.

The Blue Jays start a three-game homestand with the New York Yankees tonight with Chris Bassitt on the mound for the opener.

Scheffler captures second green jacket

Scottie Scheffler fired a four-under final round to finish at -11 for the tournament and claim a second title at the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Georgia, winning a second green jacket in just three years.

Corey Conners was the top Canadian at seven over par.
