SaskPower customers in Cabri can thank the recent rain for the power outage delay today.
Crews were supposed to continue the recent work with SaskTel on upgrading infrastructure on the 200 to 300 blocks of 2nd Street, as well as for customers on the 200 block of Hill Avenue.
Joel Cherry, a spokesperson for SaskPower, confirmed that crews will be back in action tomorrow, weather permitting.
"We know any outage is inconvenient and we try to have planned outages in such a way that it's minimally disruptive," said Cherry. "We do have to do this work to make sure that we can do the work now and have planned outages rather than having unplanned outages later."
