The playoff race continues this weekend for the Swift Current Broncos.
The Broncos face two division rivals in a weekend that could determine whether or not they stay in the hunt for the post-season. They are eight points back of Brandon for the final playoff spot as they host Regina tonight and the Wheat Kings tomorrow.
Forward Brad Hoban knows they have to contend with a tough Pats squad tonight: "They got a real good, solid 'D' core, there's no weaklings back there. We know it's going to be an absolute war that game, it always is when we play them, especially in the last few years when we had lots of success against them."
The Pats have won three out of four against Swift Current this season, but Regina is on a three game losing streak that started with a loss to the Broncos last weekend. Meanwhile, in other WHL action tonight, the Wheat Kings are in Lethbridge.
Game time between the Broncos and Pats is 7:05pm tonight from the Credit Union iplex and our broadcast starts at 6:30 on The Eagle 94.1.
