In today's update from the Saskatchewan Health Authority, they are reporting a total of 1,027 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 94,080 reported cases. 

Of the new cases, 13 are located in the Far North West zone, 9 in the Far North East zone, 36 in the North West zone, 39 in the North Central zone, 15 in the North East zone, 378 in the Saskatoon zone, 15 in the Central West zone, 71 in the Central East zone, 224 in the Regina zone, 49 in the South Central zone, and 35 in the South East zone.  

There were 18 new cases in the South West zone, 3 were located in South West subzone 2, and 15 were located in South West subzone 2. 

There were 125 new cases with pending residence information. 

There were 15 cases assigned; 7 to the North West zone, 1 to the North Central zone, 3 to the Saskatoon zone, 2 to the Central West zone, and 2 to the Regina zone. 

113 Saskatchewan residents tested positive out-of-province were added to the case counts in various zones. 

There are 8,229 cases are considered active and 84,890 cases are considered recovered. 

Nearly one-half (45.8%) of new cases are in the age category of 20 to 39. 

As of today, a total of 121 individuals are hospitalized, including 110 inpatient hospitalizations and 11 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 121 patients, 54 (44.6%) were not fully vaccinated. 

The SHA dashboard reports that of the 110 residents that are inpatient. Of those, 57 inpatient hospitalizations are a COVID-19-related illness, 44 are incidental, asymptomatic infections and 9 have not yet been determined. 11 residents are in ICUs: of those, 10 are for COVID-19-related illnesses, and 1 is for incidental, asymptomatic infections. 

No (0) new death reported today. 961 Saskatchewan residents with COVID-19 have died, with a case fatality rate of 1.1%. 

To date, 1,363,519 COVID-19 tests have been performed in the province. 

There were 1 301 COVID-19 vaccines administered, 20 of those in the South West zone. 

That brings the provincial total number of vaccinations given to 1 818 851. 

There are now 869 541 Saskatchewan residents who are fully vaccinated. 

As of today, the 7-day average of new COVID-19 case numbers was 980 (81.3 new cases per 100,000). 

Since January 1, the New Cases by Vaccination Status table has shown a significant number of new cases as unvaccinated. This data is not accurate. This table is no longer featured on the dashboard until a review of the information is complete and the data rectified.
