In the November 3 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority they are reporting a total of 173 new confirmed cases of the virus in the province.

Of those 173 new cases there are 9 in the Far North West zone, 10 in the Far North East zone, 8 in the North West zone, 14 in the North Central zone, 3 in the North East zone, 51 in the Saskatoon zone, 2 in the Central West zone, 23 in the Central East zone, 24 in the Regina zone, 2 in the South Central zone, and 17 in the South East zone.

There are 4 new confirmed cases in the South West zone - 1 in South West subzone 1, and 3 in South West subzone 2.

There are 6 new cases with pending residence information.

Fourteen cases with pending residence information have been assigned as follows - 6 to the North West zone, 4 to the North Central zone, 1 to the Central East zone, and 3 to the Regina zone.

Less than one-third (30.1%) of new cases are in the 11 and under age category.

Almost two-fifths (37.2%) of new cases eligible for vaccination (aged 12 years and older) were fully vaccinated.

The seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases is 177 (14.7 new cases per 100,000 population).

That brings the provincial total number of cases to 78,075, of which 1,765 are considered active.

There are 35 active cases in the South West zone - 16 in South West subzone 1, and 19 in South West subzone 2.

There are 3 new deaths reported, bringing the provincial total number of deaths to 862.

There are 234 recoveries, 2 of them in the South West zone, bringing the provincial total number of recoveries to 75,448.

There are 226 people in the hospital - 175 receiving inpatient care, and 51 in intensive care.

Of those 226 patients 154 (68.1%) were not fully vaccinated.

There are 25 Saskatchewan residents receiving out of the province ICU care.

To date, there has been 1,231,641 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday there were 2,908 COVID-19 test processed in the province.

Of the 14,128 variants of concern cases identified by whole genome sequencing in Saskatchewan, 7,123 are Alpha (B.1.1.7), 10 are Beta (B.1.351), 484 are Gamma (P.1), and 6,511 are Delta (B.1.617.2).

There were 2,328 COVID-19 vaccinations administered yesterday, 113 of those in the South West zone.

That brings the provincial total number of vaccines given to 1,673,076,

There are now 800,031 Saskatchewan residents who are fully vaccinated.
