Xplornet Summer Streaming Concert Series has concluded after four fantastic shows.

All summer long, talented artists have been taking over a live stream to be closer to their fans, do what they love, and bring you new music.

The first artist to take over the concert series was Robyn Ottolini. Fresh off playing the Calgary stampede for the first time, just the night before, she started the show with ‘Sincerely Drunk Me.’ She followed with a song she wrote in quarantine titled ‘Mommas Ain’t Always Right,’ a cheeky song about how she wishes moms weren't always right about everything. The songs were accompanied by some older songs of hers as well as some fan favourites before she concluded the show with her hit F150.

The next artist to feature was Aaron Goodvin. He kicks off the show with a vibrant energy, excited to greet fans. The first song of the night for Goodvin is ‘Good Ol Bad Bays’ released in 2019 on his album, ‘V.’ Crediting it as the song that got it all started for him, he continues on to perform, ‘Woman In Love.’ A special song with a special music video to accompany it, shot on his wedding day. Goodvin is also joined by his super cute pup! He keeps the show upbeat, slipping in some of his slower melodies into the mix. The set included his latest single, ‘Boy Like Me,’ and one of his biggest songs, “Lonely Drum.’

The Washboard Union was up next in the concert series! The trio start the show with ‘Country Thunder’ off their new album ‘Everbound.’ Members Aaron Grain, Chris Duncombe and David Roberts chat lots about previous music videos, tease a new one, and touch on how lockdown changed things for them. The group is visibly excited to be integrating live shows back into their schedules. Duncombe even takes a moment at one point to give a special thanks to a few Golden West Stations, one of which happens to be CJSN! They also shout out The Hunter Brothers, calling them their good buddies and teasing an upcoming collab.

Meghan Patrick is the final artist to take over. Having just released her latest record, ‘Heart On My Glass’ in June, Patrick is excited to share new music with fans. She starts the show with the title track from her new album. Patrick expresses how proud she is of this album and how excited she is to be back on a stage in front of fans again soon. The set includes, songs written in quarantine, as well as old and new songs including a very personal song on the album that she remarks is her favourite titled, ‘Better Story.” The whole show is laid back and personal, as if she's spending the night with a friend. There is even a guest appearance from her dog, Annie.

If you missed any of the shows, you can still watch them here!
