SaskTel is reporting an increase in revenues and total income in their 2008 financial results.

The Crown Corporation says they recorded a total income of $121.4 million, which is up $37.3 million from 2007.  Revenues grew by more than $76 million, to $1.14 billion.

Strong customer growth for cellular, television, and internet services is being credited for the increase in revenues.

The highlights for SaskTel this past year included an announcement to bring high-speed internet and cellular services to virtually every Saskatchewan community through the Provincial Rural Infrastructure Program.
