The 22 Annual Piapot Lions Club Gun and Hobby Show happened this past weekend at the Maple Creek Armories.

The hall was full with about 43 exhibitors on hand from all over Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Show organizers say spectator numbers were down abit, with about 500 people in attendance over the two days.

Harvey Wasilow, with the Piapot Lions Club, explains where the money they make at the Show goes. "We help out people with medical problems or anything like that. And then we look after our Legion Hall in Piapot. We look after a little playground there, and a playground in Maple Creek. We help with expenses for the Handicap Bus in Maple Creek."

The show offered people the chance to buy, sell or trade new and used guns, knives and reloading equipment, as well as antiques, collectibles, coins, jewelry, silver and gold.
