Much of southern Saskatchewan was under a Wind Warning today, and the wet snow that came with it made for poor road conditions in our area.

A cold front made its way into the province from the west, bringing strong westerly winds and gusts of up to 90km/h.

The wind was mixed with snow, causing undesirable driving conditions that continue into this evening.  The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure is reporting most highways in the southwest are wet and at risk of freezing.

To check road conditions in your area, you can call the Highway Hotline at (888) 335-7623, or click the road report link on the Swift Current Online homepage.
