A Night Out In Greece will be returning for a 17th year next month.

The Swift Current Greek Community will, once again, be putting on the event looking to raise money for the Dr. Noble Irwin Regional Healthcare Foundation.

Taking place October 24th at the Swift Current Legion Hall, the event will feature a formal dinner and dance.

George Tsougrianis, Director for the event, talked about the importance of the fundraiser.

“Our main focus is to raise money to help improve the health care system in southwest Saskatchewan. So, to do that, we are offering authentic Greek food and authentic Greek music,” he said.

Tsougrianis also spoke about the local musical line-up that will be featured.

“The local band is called Riv Rash, and DJ Paul Wang. There is also myself playing the Greek bouzouki with my band,” he added.

Tickets to the event are now available for $100 each and can be purchased through the Dr. Noble Irwin Foundation at 306-778-3314, or through Tsougrianis at 306-741-3372.
