ACT Park was booming Sunday afternoon as Sask Abilities hosted their 2018 Ability Bowl Winter Kick-Off.

The event featured just about anything a kid could want to do in winter, as it featured ice skating, tobogganing, sleigh rides, and more.

rom the community coming out to enjoy the activities," she said. "It's fantastic to see the communities support and what we can do and offer for the community as well."

Watson added the winter kick-off event is a great way to connect with the community and get everybody out to enjoy what winter has to offer.

Though it was all fun and games, the event did have a goal in mind, as Sask Abilities was kicking off their Ability Bowl Fundraiser which takes place in April.

"We're looking for anybody that would like to be on an Ability bowl team fundraising for us," Watson said.

The winter kick-off saw many of the same events as last year's, but this year they added a snow Zumba class, and when the kids got cold they had hot chocolate and chilli waiting for them.

Watson said that looking forward to next year they will be looking to see what they came come up with.
