After Eric Doyle and Derek Claffey, the Broncos get young and inexperienced pretty quick as they get to set to begin the season tomorrow night against the Moose Jaw Warriors.

The Broncos are set to begin the season with two 16 year-olds on the back-end.  Reece Scarlett and Graeme Craig will be two players to watch as they develop.

Assistant Coach Tim Kehler looks after the defense corps.  He says there's a positive approach to take with the young defensemen.

"There are going to be some growing pain with those guys but the other side of it is as 16 year-old players, I think the progress we are going to be able to watch and evaluate as the year goes on will really be in leaps and bounds.  I think they are tremendous athletes.  It should be pretty exciting both from a coaching standpoint and from a fan standpoint to watch the development of these kids."

Andrew Hewett (19), saw limited time in his rookie season last year. Joel Rogers (18) and Jordan Evans (17) both have WHL experience while newcomer Brody Luhning (17) has shown some potential.

The Broncos open the season tomorrow night at home against the Moose Jaw Warriors.  Face-off at 7:30 pm. The Eagle 94.1 FM has the game beginning at 7pm with the pre-game show, 7:30pm with the play-by-play.
