It's expected to be a busy day in Swift Current Provincial Court today, with two high-profile cases on the docket.

23-year-old Brock Palffrey of Vernon, BC, is set to appear for a bail hearing today.  He's facing charges in connection with last month's $6.5 million cocaine bust near Swift Current. The co-accused, 23-year-old Troy Swanson of Vernon, was released on $75,000 bail last week.

Also, 19-year-old John Donovan Park, who is facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of Roland Ruest two weeks ago, is due in court for a show cause hearing. 22-year-old Raymond Lynn Davis was arrested in Medicine Hat this week in connection with the case, and will also face second-degree murder charges in court today.
