Chinook School Division Director of Education and newly appointed Chair of the Directors of Education for the Province of Saskatchewan, Liam Choo-Foo

 

Chinook School Division Director of Education Liam Choo-Foo has been named the Chair of the Directors of Education for the Province of Saskatchewan.

The group consists of 28 education directors of school divisions across the province, and meets regularly with the Ministry of Education.

Choo-Foo says the Chinook Board of Education is always supportive in making sure people have an opportunity to have a provincial prescence:


 

Choo-Foo adds that he's honoured by the appointment saying, "It's always nice when your peers recognize the work that you are doing, and you feel that maybe you are providing some level of leadership in your field. It feels quite rewarding."

 

The announcement of Choo-Foo's appointment was made at Monday's Chinook School Board meeting.
