Swift Current is going ahead with the second phase of the City Hall roof renovation.
After getting work done on the lower level last year, they will add an SBS roofing system to the upper level this year.
"Last year we did the lower level roof," said Swift Current Director of Engineering Mac Forster. "It was showing signs of failure and there was some roof leaks that were causing interior damage."
"So we're just following it up with the second phase which is to do the higher level."
Forster expects to get 30 years out of the upgraded roof.
The low bid came from Clark Roofing of Saskatoon at $144,000.
