Swift Current City RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating a wanted individual. 

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of Lane Anthony Purves. 

The 28-year-old is described as 6'0" tall, 200 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a distinct scar on his left cheek, a tattoo on his neck composed of lettering, and the word "king" tattooed on his left hand.

Purves is facing ten charges, with RCMP actively searching for him.

The list of charges is as follows. 

- theft of motor vehicle
- break and enter
- mischief causing damage
- assault police officer
- resist arrest
- theft under $5,000
- possession of property obtained by crime
- fail to comply with a release order
- fail to attend court
- fail to attend for the purposes of Identification of Criminal Act
