Codie Prevost is one of the performers touring southern Saskatchewan for the Ducks Unlimited Community Concert Series

With the stresses and struggles of harvest, producers could use a pick-me-up, and Ducks Unlimited Canada believes they have the solution.

A Community Concert Series will be making its way across rural Saskatchewan to raise money and lift some spirits.

"I guess it was structured to help rural Saskatchewan, especially in the light of the floodings, natural disasters, late seeding, and late harvest,  to help rural Saskatchewan raise some money," said Rick Kezama of Kezama Entertainment. "It's just going to be a great fun night for the community, kids are welcome. This year has been a tough year for alot of farmers in rural communities, and I think it'll be a great night out for everyone."

Kezama adds this is a night specifically designed to generate community revenue.

"We're hoping for the best, and hopefully everyone can take time out of their schedule to come support a great event that will help their community. Each town has different areas where there money is going to be going. Whether it's a rink, a heritage hall, a rodeo, different events, but this money will help."

The first concert features Codie Prevost and Samara Yung at Ogema on Friday, September 26th, and other concerts will be held in Strasbourg, Rockglen, Gravelbourg and Whitewood.

Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketedge.ca or from local vendors.
