Motorists and farmers have to share the road this time of year, as farmers move their combines and tractors from field to field.

Motorists need to have patience with slow-moving machinery.  Most of the time, a farmer will pull over and let traffic pass.

Farmers can also prevent accidents by using "Slow-moving vehicle" signs.  The signs must be centered on the rear of the trailing equipment, 60 centimeters above the road surface, and they must be clearly visible to anyone 150 meters away.
